Since her early childhood, Sara Landriscina has always been fascinated and passionate for the drawing, which prompted her, very young, to attend art lessons given by the famous painter Vittorio Viviani, from Milan, who used to be a frequent visitor of the lovely and inspiring landscapes in lake Iseo area.
After graduating from art school Oprandi of Lovere, Sara moves forward to the Accademia of Belle Arti in Venice. Further to this second graduation an intense work began, getting her visible results and the first positive feedbacks from art critics. In 1994 she won the prize acquisition in the competition "CommoediaDantis 2000", organized by the Union Fiorentina during the restoration of Dante's house.
In the same year Sara receives the selection prize "Bevilacqua La Masa", at the Venice Biennale gardens. Then in 1995, she was also awarded the third prize in the competition "The Carmarthen" in Clusane d'Iseo.
From 1996 to 2000 she took part in numerous group exhibitions, including "Art and Sport" in Palazzo Martinengo in Brescia and the XXIII International exhibition "Bice Bugatti" in Milan, along with the "Arts and Crafts" show at the Iseo Arsenale.
She Inaugurates "La Quadra" art gallery with a personal exhibition in 2000 to be followed by some group exhibitions until her fourth personal show in 2005.
In 2010 and 2012 she exhibited in the Biennale of Malindi (Kenya) with a group exhibition , whereas in 2010, she is at the Castle of Brescia with the exhibition "Brescia Meets Africa" organized on the occasion of the Brescia Marathon .
Sara was born in Iseo, where she still lives and works.
